Chesapeake City to Cape May

This morning we left at 5:30AM (!!) to beat the storms, winds and the waves.  There were no storms, the winds were reasonable and the waves were 1 to 3 feet!  Weather forcasting is still an art form.  We are happy to have a difficult body of water behind us.
We worked on a few things on the boat after we arrived in Cape May;  we rewarded ourselves by enjoying cocktails and a swordfish dinner with Ron and Jan two of our boating friends.
Lately there are quite a few loopers at most marinas we stop at;  including many people that we have met and meet again.  That's enjoyable.
Tomorrow will be a poor day for boating so we will explore the Cape and do a little grocery shopping.  We and the other loopers hope for good weather on Friday so we may continue on to New York by way of Atlantic City.
