Jayne and I are having trouble leaving Chicago; it is a place laden with things to do. Today we spent much of the day bicycling the path which took us along the beaches and through Lincoln Park all the way to Belmont Harbor. We fought 25 mph winds for what seemed like hours; however, with the wind at our backs we made the trip back in 45 minutes Midway through the ride we enjoyed a few hours in the Lincoln Park Zoo.
In the area of our harbor we found a huge Dominick's grocery store right downtown; filled our bike basket and handle bars with groceries and walked the bikes back to the boat!

We are looking forward to tomorrow's trip through the city via the Chicago river.
