From Clewiston to Indiantown

We lucked out weatherwise in crossing Okeechobee in calm seas.  This lake is touted as being the 2nd biggest lake totally in the US after Lake Michigan.
1st Mate Jayne piloted the boat all the way across and THEN she made the sandwiches!!
The scenery was more wild and undeveloped on the way to our next marina resort, Indiantown.  Jayne felt that we were re living the movie the African Queen!
A Railway lift bridge

Sunken Boat in the Lake( lots of Comorans and white pelicans)

The resort was a nice place attached to a town of 6000.  We ate a fine meal at their premier italian restuarant, followed by a grocery shopping spree.  A nice couple from upper Michigan who live on their boat in the Bahamas over the winter offered to bring our groceries home so we didn't have to ride them home on the bikes; how about that!
