The trip to Melbourne, Florida

Melbourne by night
Lots of interesting big homes on the water

Jayne in a well deserved rest

The weather was beautiful but unseasonably warm.   We arrived at Melbourne Harbour Marina at 3:00.  After checking in we had a cocktail and a bite to eat at Icibod's which is on the premises.  We later explored Melbourne Historic district which just a few blocks from where we are docked.  Lots of shops; lots of interesting restuarants and bars.  Many of the places had entertainment in the form of duos and trios playing anything from pop to jazz.

Jayne is still hurting from all of the many bruises and from her arm.   It's difficult for her to keep her arm inactive while she wants to participate in running the boat.   She's quite the trooper in spite of the pain.

Tomorrow we travel to Titusville which is close to Cape Canaveral.   Our plans do not include taking in the many sites there because we have both spent much time there in  past years;  therefore it will  be a one night stop.
