Titusville to Daytona

Up to his armpits looking for the fish!

Before we left the dock we noticed a lot of commotion in the water behind the boat.  It seemed that dripping water from the dock had attracted 4 manatees.   Jayne and I got on our knees and petted them on their heads and backs!  They didn't show signs of wanting to leave so we left first.

We were blessed once again with beautiful weather and a lot of wildlife throughout the day.   The Dolphins were in great abundance; birds included lots of the usual Florida species such as egrets, pelicans, etc. plus a really rare sight of two bald eagles standing on a sand bar just thirty feet from our passing boat!

The area south of Daytona was very pretty and wild, with loads of fishing huts, campgrounds, trailers, and mansions;  many of the residents seeming to specialise in catching fish!
Daytona is an upscale town with a revitalized downtown section.
