Titusville

Phyllis opening a present (see below)

We enjoyed cooler weather today while on this 5 hour trip; arriving around 1:30.   Lots of dophins everywhere!
The town isn't much and according to the locals will be even less interesting after NASA leaves.   The impressive site was the Space Program park honoring everyone who had anything to do with the space program from JFK to the astronauts.
One of the many artifacts in the space park

Jayne took a really good shot of the shuttle as we passed it.  Very impressive.  However we lost it in the camera!!
The fun part was that we were put on E dock with the partying live aboards!!  and were promptly invited to a party on the dock this evening honoring  Phyllis' who was celebrating her 76th birthday (see picture).  She is a really special person.
At the party we met a lot of interesting people with big boats who, when they are not in Titusville, are boating in places like Cartegena Colombia, Costa Rica and other exotic ports.

Tomorrow we head out for Daytona Beach, Florida
