The landscape changed dramatically as we came north but still in South Carolina. We now have Cypress swamps with lots of tall trees, and then vegetation on top of the water that almost reminds us of lily pads; this is a river and a deep one no longer influenced by the ocean; so now the fishing is in bass boats for bass.
In places the shoreline seems no different than in the midwest with pines included
The weather was dry at 75 degrees and a few pesty flies.
Many osprey eagle nests everywhere |
Shoreline with cyprus swamp |
Getting the lines ready for the next stop |
We spent three hours with the dueling pianos! 4 players; 2 and 4 at a time |
A nice quiet marina after the nightlife! |
One angry dragon! |
