To Swansboro

The anchorage was OK but windy all night; causing me to look out the window every so often to see if the boat has moved.
The day was sunny and cool; long pants weather high of 65, low of  51 tonight.   The scenery was varied with swamps, trees, totally developed to undeveloped properties plus a couple of military  properties including Camp Dejune military base. The waterway is closed at times because of military exercises.

Swansboro is a town with a history of more than 250 years!  Lots of old houses, quaint shops and a variety of good restuarants.
Met Peter in the restaurant (retired college and high school teacher) who insisted on giving us 1/2 of his meal!  Also want's to follow us on the blog.  Also met a few interesting sailboaters.
Tomorrow on to Beaufort, NORTH Carolina

Mama Osprey is home as we float by

This house is hot pink! with a matching Light house

Nice friendly town (hitched a ride to town with Jason the town lawyer)!

Mama Yana's store is totally 50's featuring Elvis, Marilyn, etc.

Couldn't hitch a ride but Travis the chauffer took the picture.
