The trip to Southport North Carolina

The day was mostly on the warm side changing drastically to cool in the evening.  Along the way we were again amazed at the hundreds of hugh houses and docks that seem to go forever to get to navagable water.
The highlight of nature was that we saw an bald eagle swoop down to pick up a large fish in his talons.  Evidently the fish was so large the the eagle fell into the water unable to pick up the fish - an amazing sight!

The terrain was mostly wooded with areas of swamp.
