Cape May Day 2

Today was an ideal day to stroll around the beautiful resort town of Cape May, New Jersey.  Most of the buildings are from the Victorian Age.   The streets were canopied by trees and the houses were mostly very large with lots of greenery and flowers.   The town has been rebuilt a number of times due to several large fires and one hurricane.  It is a great walking and biking community;  the beach is excellent for swimming and has a large stone and cement boardwalk running between the beach and the shops, restuarants, etc.

The town population is rather small until the tourists arrive in large numbers.
Cape May has a very busy arts schedule featuring plays, musicals, and entertainment in general.
We recieved a lot of history through a trolley tour.
This place is on our top 3 list including Fernandina and Baltimore.
