Ottawa Day 3

We finally got the medication that we were looking for and decided to stay the 3rd day and get a fresh early start tomorrow.
We used the courtesy car for a 1/2 day to get the medications, to find an excellent breakfast place, to do a little more shopping and enjoy the beautiful Fox River Valley.

Ottawa a rather prosperous town has a beautiful park with statues commemorating a Lincoln Douglas debate that took place on that spot in 1858.  Among the many wonderful murals downtown the Lincoln Douglas debate mural is one of the best; I would estimate it to be over 200 feet in length.

Tomorrow we travel the Illinois River to Peoria Illinois; one lock and 72 miles.
