South Haven

Staying 3 days in Muskegon waiting for the weather to break was a good idea;  the seas were super all the way to South Haven.  Susan made the cruise with us.
South Haven is a lovely town with lots of shops and resturants and attractive piers sandwiched between two beautiful beaches.  Very attractive homes are throughout the town interlaced with many water views and marinas.
We stayed for 3 days while waiting for the seas to settle down.
During this time we seemed to be busy doing a combination of walking, bicyling, and boat stuff.   The resturants presented many fine options for us.

Tomorrow we plan to move on to Benton Harbor for a desiel fill up and then on to New Buffalo, 50 miles in total and our last Lake Michigan stop before Chicago.  At this time we are planning to be in Du Sable Harbor in Chicago on the 12th of August.
Ray and Susan will accompany us as far as Chicago.  They have added a lot to our cruising experience; we enjoyed having them aboard.
On the 13th we will move into the Chicago River for a beautiful trip through our favorite city.
